Working from home can be a challenge.  It can be hard, from time to time, to differentiate between home and work obligations.  I know for me, my computer sits beckoning me - - "c'mon" it says, "you only have three more emails to send..."

We all started working from home for a very good reason.  We want to put our families first, while still contributing to the household income.  My first secret to success isn't a secret at all.  It's a rule.

SET WORK HOURS, AND KEEP THEM.

Yup, that's it.  Plain and simple.  It's all about the scheduling, managing and maintaining it. Once you have your schedule - and it works for you, you need to stand by it.  Set a timer if you need to, because as I've said  before (and I'm going to say again) we made the choice to work from home for a reason, and we love what we do.  Don't let that one last email task pull you away from the reason(S) you decided to work from home in the first place.

Setting work hours, the WAHPM way of maintaining the balance.
